The Confidential Failure to Survive Insurance provides contingent insurance benefits for whoever purchases a policy on the insured person without their knowledge. Such insurance can be purchased only where there is clear financial justification such as a contract. Common coverage needs are divorce decree, venture capital, bank loan, personal loan, buy/sell agreement, key person, movie production, surrogate mother, business agent, or outstanding invoices.
Please note that you can buy insurance on your ex-spouse to cover any alimony or child support payments.
You can download the paper application and send it to us. Underwriting normally takes 2-3 days. As this insurance is to be purchased without the other person's knowledge, there is no medical examination required.
As long as there is a financial justification for it, you can buy the insurance from $100,000 to $20,000,000 or more.
There should be a written agreement between the policy owner and the insured to justify such insurance. Such agreement will be review annually to maintain the coverage.
The Confidential Failure to Survive Insurance is underwritten by Lloyd's, that is rated A "Excellent" by A.M. Best.
